Sarkari Naukri: This is a golden opportunity for the candidates preparing for government jobs to become junior engineers.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for 968 posts of Junior Engineer in various departments. The application process for this has been started on 28 March 2024. The last date to apply is 18 April 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website ssc.gov.in to apply. After the application process is over, candidates can make corrections in their application form from April 22 to April 23. To apply for these posts, the candidate must have an engineering diploma degree in the relevant field from any recognized educational institution.

The age limit of the candidate has been fixed differently according to the category, complete details of which are given below.
General Category – 30 years
OBC Category- 33 years
SC Category- 35 years
ST Category- 35 years

What is the recruitment process

Under Paper 1 and Paper 2 examination, candidates will be selected for recruitment to the posts of JE. The salary of the candidates selected on these posts will range from Rs 35,400 – 1,12,400. Whereas Paper 1 exam will be conducted on 6 June 2024. All the candidates who pass this will be called for Paper 2.
